Enjoying the cold and snow on 39.5 iroks.

Picked up some 5" trail gear springs so starting working on front 60 for a spring under setup.

Took a little break from sheet metal work and got back on my rear axle. Using the ruffstuff horizontal mount axle bracket started working on a template for a truss.

Doner panel fit in place. Its actually a back cab section from a 2000 Ford f-250.

Few more, will probably end up cutting more holes back in the bed when I start adding tube. And a template for the next piece to go in.

Hard to tell in the pic, but there is about 2 inches between the headreasts and glass at the closest point. Will have a nice little storage spot for tools behind the rear seats.

More sheet metal and test fitting back seats with glass in place.

Little bit more sheet metal welded. Need to finish the other bed rail still.

Been in the middle of other projects so found a little temporary motivation while progress has stopped.

Old school roll bar gone, and the rest of my tube burnt in. Could use s couple more pieces here and there, but all out, so just going to run it like this for a while.

More tube. Time to ditch the old school roll bar.

Seems like the first bend or notch I do each day something goes wrong. Limited to tube on hand I had to make it work so here's what I ended up with on the other side. It doesn't look bad just not identical to the driver side. And this leaves me about a ft. short to tie in across the top...

Little more tube added after work this evening. Definitely a good rig to practice my first cage on, as far as the pickup already beat to crap, because with a cleaner wheeler, I'd be a hell of a lot pickier about the bends and notches I've come up with and have wasted almost all my tube so far.
