I agree with 50/50 unless it's comp crawling. Tuning the shocks will help more than anything. If you expect to bolt a shock on and work 100% you're living in 1995.

Landing directly on the driveshaft is probably what knocked the original tang off. I did that to a 14 bolt yoke. I welded the cap right in and continued on.

That'll hold up for a weekend and then some, as long as nothing's binding to try to rip it off. We've fixed a few like that on the trail.

I'm late to the game. But Rock Run in Patton, PA is another option. They have camping available, and I know my way around there pretty good.
