    When dragging a trailer most do the route out i40 west to ABQ then Moab and then east via i70 due to the steep grades west of Denver. Either way suggest taking route 128 heading into Moab along the Colorado river, its gorgeous. FYI - We took a big rig through there 21 Road!!!, must do 21...

    is a dry heat!!! I know know, the whole oven thing but it really does make a difference especially on a windy day. Very easy to get dehydrated so carry water.

    Agreed. milkshakes are excellent. Gotta hit Milts Stop and Eat too for a great old fashioned Hamburger, it aint perty but the food is damned good. Also, there's a cool little t-shirt shop on the main drag with custom made shirts and thousands of off road sticker. I walked out $100 poorer

    Tail lights, headlights, tags and insurance are highly recommended. Windshield is a good thing to have for the road portions too. Some trails are a ways out of town on black top (such Poison Spider Mesa) and getting back in town after dark is not unusual. Comparing Sand Hollow to Moab is...

    electric motors all around, 1 electric motor at each wheel and would also negate need for any gearing at all. Imagine the possibilities, no drive-line, no drive shafts or any of the crap associated.
