    JK gearing advice

In case anyone else has this question one day, here is an update: I ended up with 5.13's. I like having the power back and enjoy not having it downshift all the time, but I am still getting used to driving slower. If I had a longer commute to work or planned to travel further distances with...

    JK gearing advice

I have a 4 door JK with 35's. (3.6L with auto trans). Don't wheel it and don't tow anything, so I'm not considering that into the equation. That said, anyone have any real world experience they'd care to share? I know what all the charts recommend but I'm curious what people are actually running.

    Fuel Cells

RCI sells a tank with a plastic liner specifically for off road. My aluminum one cracked a couple yrs ago like most everyone else's does. When I called for warranty I upgraded to their new one. Same size as the 2161.

    Another battery thread

East Penn makes an "Intimidator" AGM that is supposed to be their competitive line to Optima. I've had one for 2 years now, no issues. My rig gets little use and I have been keeping a battery tender on it like I should, but it's doing great so far. East Penn makes batteries for many places and...

    Hand brake for digs

I had one on my jeep (aw4 and dana 300) installed in-line on rear brake line only. When pulled by hand, no pedal input required. Not saying this is the correct set up, but it worked. That said, I very rarely used it so I removed it.

Saving Forgotten Warriors Ride- November 9th- Stony Lonesome OHV Park

Who's all going to this? I've had Stony on my list of places to go for a while now. This is a good cause and I'd get too wheel a new park so win-win.

    IBP's versus Bypasses

I had 2.0 non resi Fox rears and some Bilstein with resi fronts. Dicked with "tuning" myself on and off for 2 years. Finally ditched Bilstein, added 4 fox with resi's and sent to Wizzo. It's amazing what someone with tuning knowledge can do. I'll never run a non tuned suspension again.

Is it worth it , or are forums a dying media ?

I agree with pretty much everything already said, we need to keep this site. I'm from Indiana and literally every person I know from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama I met through this forum and then eventually met on the trail. FB marketplace, Craigslist, Fox news, and Hardline are the sites I...
