More fire safety ( fire suppresion systems)

Fully agree with what was posted earlier that in our application ("non-contained" environment for the fire to be suppressed) these systems are for merely buying time and minimizing damage... My rig has 2 x 8L tanks, one under each seat, with two pull toggles behind the gear/transfer case...

    Rockwells make your sac swell!

I opted for the 16s Ouversons inners up front to run an ARB (my rig is street legal and sometimes it sees street/speed sections)...but went on with Violator UJs and outers...which shaft did you break? Long/Short?

How did u come up with the name of your rig???

Awesome stories! :D Mine were simple: 1. first one was slow (220:1 crawl), gray, and ugly, so "DiscoDino" (it was a Land Rover Discovery truggy) 2. second/current one is a meaner version with 54s, RWs, Z06-ed LQ4, NV4500, HERO 3, ORIs, etc...so called it "Rex" (as in T-Rex, also based on a...

    Crawler weight

I'm at 6820...considering the 6.0 cast, Rockwells, 54" TTCs, 3 winches and a whole lot of stuff and a full Land Rover single cab with glass...nah, that's still heavy!

    Crawling in Lebanon (Middle East)

That was definitely one of the reasons...also, I plan to race in some comps in Europe...I prefer to have a better set-up with duals for redundancy...I have a set of Sticky 42 Maxxis for higher speed events...

    Crawling in Lebanon (Middle East)

Re: Originally from Lebanon but due to the war been living outside most of my life...mostly in Canada/US...based out of Dubai now, and will the relatively lenient laws and phenomenal terrain/seasons, wheeling in Lebanon is pretty cool. Also close to Europe for Ultra 4 Europe and some cool...

    Crawling in Lebanon (Middle East)

Thanks - I had to pre-plan everything...so bought everything, slapped in a 20-footer and shipped...then figured things out...had some issues as we went along the build (and still do)...so yeah...the distance hurts! Thanks for the kudos.
