    F.A.S.T. Ez efi

I ran propane for a year on my big block mopar... despite what all the pain lovers say you just can't get enough air through that little impco 425 carb... not physically possible.. I got fed up with dealing with it so I switched to the FAST ez efi... Simple to install. I had NO issues with...

    Project "Naughty Finger"

Things are moving along despite the fact it is snowing AGAIN.. My doubler kit came in from NWF... nice kit... I had to order the larger input bearing and female input shaft. I haven't started installing it yet because my 70's GM 205 case is getting the input bearing machined out to be larger. I...

    Project "Naughty Finger"

I just want to update my posts regarding the use of Bend Tech Pro A couple days ago I opened the software up and it had an update. After it was updated I noticed the program "flows" a lot smoother and I have not run across any of the "glitches" that were annoying me a couple months ago. A lot...

    Project "Naughty Finger"

Thanks for the kind words Draco. Much appreciated. A lot of work went into that stupid table. Yesterday a club member volunteered to enlarge the main bearing in my 205 housing so I can run the bigger 90mm bearing. This week I will be tearing the 205 down so I can get it machined for the...

    Got propane mixer?

I know for a fact that not everything gotpropane sells is impco. Some of it is. Some of it ( Gemini ) is a no name cheap Chinese product. I had one of his Gemini mixers. I paid for a impco mixer. I had to go buy an impco mixer from one of gotpropane's distributors because I needed a mixer the...

    Got propane mixer?

Be very careful buying from GotPropane. I am sure he is a nice guy and knows his stuff BUT when I bought a kit off him two years ago I paid full price for impco parts and received a cheap Chinese knockoff Gemini mixer. It was made from shitty porous material and was leaking at the threaded area...

    Project "Naughty Finger"

Decision made. Today I drove two hours one way to pickup a hemi. Ended up driving two hours one way to take a hemi out of a charger with almost no tools. End result is I have myself a complete 06 hemi from a cop car. The biggest difference between the police version a public version is a really...

    Project "Naughty Finger"

Decision is made.. I am picking up the hemi with the bad head and busted piston for $400. The 2010 hemi with low miles out of the 300C is a vvt engine. Although the can phasermin the vvt can be locked out you can't do much to the motor. No aftermarket support for the vvt programmer wise. The...

    A LESSON LEARNED!

damn.. there are some terms that I can not repeat that properly describe that style of craftsmanship. I assume you bought that buggy sight unseen so hopefully the seller can't sleep well at night knowing he screwed you over. I unfortunately have been through a similar situation. I purchased a...

    Gm d60 king pin ????

I really don't think it matters. Just springless steering arms and keep it greased. Everything else around it will fail before that bushing does and you'll most likely be changing it when you fix whatever break. I had the plastic ones and beat the hell out of it for a couple years and it had no...

    Project: it ain't mine????

Hey Technician, I get what you are saying about jeeps. I am not bashing them. Not by any means. I have seen them do VERY well and NOTHING from the factory can compete. Add in the fact that you can pretty much build an awesome trail rig from a jeep and a catalog and they are great. With that said...

    Project "Naughty Finger"

I went to pick up the rest of the steel I needed for my jig... Went to Winnick.. if you are in Minnesota you might be familiar with that place. If not just know that in the winter getting steel out of their drop off area is a b!tch because it's all outside and now covered in two feet of snow. I...

    Project "Naughty Finger"

Not sure but here is a link to it with all the info. For the price range it was the best I could find. A friend has the Rage and he likes it but it doesn't have a quick release, doesn't have d handle and the rage has a little less power...

what type of shifter are you running in your buggy

A friend of mine wheels with one in his Bronco. He also loves it. I went the b&m route so I could slam the shifter forward and it stops on reverse. It really saved me a couple times when my front end unloaded.

what type of shifter are you running in your buggy

If you get the b&m shifter like being used on dirty girl, you can modify it so that you can slam it from first to reverse without a lockout and have to pull in the trigger for park. Modification is easy. I ran it that way two years and it saved me twice.
