Depends on oribtal so kind of hard to say usually. SE will self center if setup right but not as well as a DE. SE don't self center as well due to the fact that they use different pressures to push and pull where a DE ram will take the same pressure to go to either side. Not really a big deal...

SE ram's take a different amount of turns from lock to lock. Just something to think about.
