so a lock-rite is engaged when it has no tension and when it pops, thats it ratcheting due to tension without torque behind it correct? if this is true, then on the ice it wouldnt have the torque to keep it locked in, or unlock it? if im understanding what your saying is youslid off the road...

thats kinda what i was thinking. kinda toyed with the idea of throwing my rear locker in the front and the lock-rite in the rear. how do you guys like your front lockers in the snow? i know its a driver thing, and i can darn-near drive anything so thats not an issue, im just saying comfort...

ya, i was debating throwing my lock-rite in the rear and the softer locker thats back there now in the front to see what if any diff' it makes. The only thing is a friend of mine has a lock-rite in the front and back of his toyota and he's getting a binding chirping hop from his rear and it...
