    MATRIX Buggy Build....

Awesome you got it out! Looks killer. How does it ride? Does it feel stable and planted? What all did you tackle?
  3. ROKRIG

    JK Unlimited Black Ops

Such a sharp Jeep. Would be awesome to have as a camping/exploring rig.

    Fuel Cells School Me

If I had my way (and the space) I would have done a tank w/ a sump so there's always fuel available at the bottom of the tank.
  9. ROKRIG

    A buggy's home

Cool lookin' rig. From the front, it looks kinda pissed off (oh, and I'm jealous of all the space you have to work on your rig) Terry

    JK Unlimited Black Ops

my bad, I was thinking that the KX designated the competition compound. I didn't realize the KX includes sticky AND street compounds. I have and have only seen sticky Krawlers in the 39" flavor. Very nice rig!!!

    JK Unlimited Black Ops

You must either have way too much money or an exceptional hook-up on 39" Red Labels. I'd never even think of putting a sticky on a daily driver. Am I missing something?
  14. ROKRIG

    Domestic(ated) (non)Violence 3-seater build

Looks like some fresh rubbers on there as well! Nice work of course!

    MATRIX Buggy Build....

Nice! How many degrees of steering will you have left and right?

    MATRIX Buggy Build....

Depending on your sprung weight, those 2.0 air shocks may not be sufficient. (okay, maybe sufficient but not ideal) I'd recommend going to a 2.5 if you can. I had the 2.0's on my previous buggy and 2.5's now on my moon car. So far so good. They don't unload so fast and after I played around...

    Enclosed trailers - need input

I think the Armada will be fine. 2310 lb trailer + 2900ish lb buggy + possibly 500 lbs of gear, fluids, spare tires and the tow rig's rate for 10,000 lbs.

    Enclosed trailers - need input

I found some aluminum ramps rated for 5000 lbs each, 15" wide w/ hook ends. After looking at my trailer today, I'll probably just router out some slots just inside where the door closes so the ramp hooks can have somewhere to grab. Originally I was thinking about a couple of welded-on tube...

    Enclosed trailers - need input

Dude, ya gotta be a downer... :; I'll figure something out for ramps Going over to my brother's house tomorrow to design/build a fence to enclose a 26' x 37' area where I think some trailers and toys will be accumulating... :D

    Enclosed trailers - need input

Thanks all! I went a picked up a new 8.5' x 16' Load Runner from TrailersPlus in Marysville. Considering that I won't use it more than about once a month, it had the dimensions and features I need. 8" integrated I-beam frame, 16" on center wall studs and I believe the same for the frame cross...
