well i finally got time to jack it up the rearend and put it in drive ...the noise is a for sure from the rear 3rd member i can feel it with my hand...so what pinion bearings maybe....pinion nut looks untouched..i have been very abusive to this rig..anything will help thanks

ya it is hard to tell front or rear...front cvs look visually fine no rips ..but im goin to jack it up and test everything..thanks

id say fine too grandpa driving..i have a kia rio and tow 1100lbs..trailer with quad a bit under that but its no prob

im sure its from the rear just replaced the u joints on driveline and i still have a slight ticking clunking noise while moving ..goes fast with speed and seems louder on right turns? checked the diff decent fluid no metal inside..put a magnet in there .no noticeable rocks or anything in...

cheapo ones work good ..harbor freight under a dollar and colored sockets...paint chips but makes it easy to find ur size

try an old stick welder and crank it up...seems to work decent and is pretty cheap

nice little truck...i had one about the same 86 i think king cab they move good... get urself a different key setup just like older toyotas these are easy for theives

which ones actually last to good abuse when running 35s and rough abuse.... im tired of doing 25mph to go out wheeling....:corn:

that new one too was only 94.99 plus tax cant get cheaper than that ..plus 19.99for a 2yr warranty and you can trade it for a better one and get all ur money towards the new one:corn:
