    9K winches

A standard width M8000 drum is a direct swap on a 9.0RC. I swapped mine and have a full width 9.0rc up front, and a comp width m8000 in back.

To auto or not to auto

Both my radiator and trans are on manual. Very simple and reliable, but it sucks if you forget to turn on the fan, you'll wish it was automatic when that happens. :redneck:

To auto or not to auto

I have a stock 2004 Lq9 6.0l tourque converter, th350, 3.8:1, 5.38's, 39's. It does push a little in 1st on really steep slow crawl down hill, that's with manual spidertrax brakes, but i usually just slap it in 2nd and it holds fine.

To auto or not to auto

A th350 with a reverse manual valve body would be way better when it comes to anything really technical, and they allow you to operate with more finesse when you're at the line of catastrophic consequences. 1st to reverse is way faster in an auto also. So I vote th350, and a decent tranny cooler.

    M/T Tire Debate

i've run most of these tires, i can say if duratracs aren't aggressive enough for you, get the mtr's. That tire worked great on my wifes jk for 45K miles, and worked really well in the snow, and dirt. But they got loud, and rode rough since the lugs are so big. I would run the duratracs...

    maxxis treps & cc input

Just get some sx's if you don't want a sticky. Or bfg reds if you need stickies. If you plan to use them in snow, don't get stickies period.
