    Some tow rig lovin

Lol. My little 98 dodge 1500 with a 318 gas motor logged 354,000 miles on the odometer before I let it overheat too far and I warpt a head or took out a gasket... Granted, there was all kinds of little issues, including steering slop... But I just dealt with it... Then, when looking for...

    Samurai Shackles...

    SPOA on wrangler springs...

    I want a Samurai....

Are you looking to buy or trade? Since owning mine, an 88.5, I've come to know more than a few guys with Sammi's... Not sure if I could help you out... But you never know...

    What did you break today?!?!!

Here's a vid of the t-case carnage... Rock hopping and slamming the driveline on a boulder equals a sudden case of the NO-GO's... http://youtu.be/ZuW6LPKNiHE

    What did you break today?!?!!

    What'd I miss?

    What did you break today?!?!!

Just ask the guys who wheel with me how I wheel... ;-) Nah... I think it's just a product of a 'new to me' rig.. And finding all the little 'issues'. I got a great deal on the rig... And if it would've been twice the price, I bet a lot more of these 'little issues' would have already been dealt...

    What did you break today?!?!!

Yup... Had a blast yesterday... Lots of good vids including the t case explosion... Will try to get them all up soon... Close to 11 hours of wheeling yesterday! Sammy busted a welded shock mount on the right front, so I pulled the shock off... Then on one if the last runs down the hill I...

    What did you break today?!?!!

Oh, btw... The stump claimed another victim! Oneshot went for it... But didn't gas it over the top and diff'd out on the stump on the other side... Had to winch himself over it as well... Almost all the snow was gone this time, and we went all over the hillside! Found some cool hill climbs in...

    What did you break today?!?!!

So... Whilst attempting the log climb at rons run... I broke the left rear leaf pack bolt... Thus allowing the axle to twist laterally until it dug into the exo cage and wheel well... Went looking for spare bolts, and I didn't have any that were long enough in the right size... Looked all over...

    What did you break today?!?!!

I'll break that one too! Just for you Wayne. I WILL conquer that stump the next time... Just pin it and see what happens!

    What did you break today?!?!!

Well... Just one I guess... I'm not setup with drills and easy outs to remove broken bolts on the trails... So I'll just three wheel it to the trailer like last time... And it's only happened once in 4 months of wheelin... So it's not a high probability it'll break any time soon...

    What did you break today?!?!!

Had to replace the outter spindle... It was easier at the time than extracting the broken bolts... So... I'm back to 4WD again... Just gotta try and find some time before Saturday to bleed the brakes... But if not... I'll wheel again like I have been.... I'm ready for walker this Saturday! ;-)

    What did you break today?!?!!

Lol... I love having spares!! ;-) Still... Not a bad deal buying that winch for $400 and just slapping it on and using it! I like it... Think I'll keep it. I've seen guys spending $6k on these things beefing them up... Dual motors, dual solenoids etc... I'll have to see what mine 'needs'... ;-)

    What did you break today?!?!!

I broke the 6 bolts that hold the left front hub onto the wheel... Sheared em clean... When the tire quit spinning with a soft pop, I was like, NO WAY did I just pop an axle or birf that easily... Turns out the hub was spinning... But not the tire... So, had to get pulled off the stump I was...

    What did you break today?!?!!

Almost sounds like duneblasters maiden run on his 'newly traded for' yota! Lol. That was a brutal day... I feel for them guys!

    What did you break today?!?!!

Driveline is in... Pulled the wrap bar off to reweld it properly, left the mounts on... Tightened up the t-case mounts, and acquired three stock sammi rubber mounts to replace next time my fix fails.... Checked a few other things over, and spent a long time trying to clean the mud outta my rims...

    What did you break today?!?!!

Time to fix last weekends carnage... Broke a rear driveline, and rear anti wrap bar... And had a brake fluid leak on the left rear... Got a new driveline, and a welder! Hope the brake fix isn't too terrible... Should be trail ready for tomorrow!! The slip shaft is off the wrap bar at the...

    What did you break today?!?!!

Today, up at walker, after successfully making it down the RRR trail, I turned around and tried to go back up it... First gear didn't work.. So I backed up, threw it in second, and PINNED it!!! Apparently this trailhead hates my sammi!!! Today, my carnage was: the rear anti wrap bar... Which...

    Anybody wheelin tomorrow? 3-30-13

Where ya going? I like wheeling, and the sammi is ready.. Elbe might be a bit far... But doable... Walker is close... I like it there... Where are people going?

So... If I pick up yota axles...

So... When the yotas go under the sammi... I thought it'd be a good time to stretch it(everyone says it could help)... And I thought the easiest way to stretch would be link it... But Chop Shop mentioned that it might not be necessary or needed... And I value your opinions and insights...
