Lenoir City is nice. We drive through there on our way to the mountains even though it takes longer than staying on the interstate. It has a beautiful lake area. It is around 2.5 hours from Harlan and 45 minutes from Windrock.

Cliffhanger has gotten pretty bad. Roll off to the left to your death. Roll off to the right and hope a tree will catch you. About the only thing to tie off to is the tower at the top.

I would love to swap in an ISL 450 but they are selling for around $12k for a good low mileage takeout. Then I would probably need a 4000 series transmission along with a bigger radiator and intercooler. I will just have to be content with getting to the destination later.

The Colorado trip was a blast except for navigating the mountain passes with an underpowered truck.

We are still riding. Went to Harlan last weekend and we usually go there twice per year. Montrose and Penrose Colorado last summer. Scenic SxS tour near Zion National Park last summer and another planned at Sand Hollow soon. We might do a daily driver Jeep trip to MOAB in the future.
