    JK's.....

Jk's are like a full sized blazer with a tired 305. Big, heavy, no power and **** axles. But 503 different companies make billions of geegaws and doodads to customize it just like everyone else's. :haha:

To auto or not to auto

I haven't heard anyone but a show car schmuck say anything different about that piece. I've helped on cars that used them and they are nice to look at but fawking garbage to use.

    Lets talk "adapters".

Yea a bit more length isn't going to hurt anything. I'm pretty sure the 465/toy box is longer than the th350 and whatever adapter anyway and too short of a front shaft sucks!

To auto or not to auto

So long as it's correct for the balance of your crank shaft yes, 700r4 flex plate will work fine.

To auto or not to auto

Just get whatever flex plate would have been stock for your engine and you should be golden.

To auto or not to auto

:redneck: I've been a chevy guy a lot longer than a yotard. Hell my first yota had a 350. Your flex plate should have oval holes to accommodate both converter patterns.

To auto or not to auto

A gm master tech asking such a simple question? Kids these days, I bet you asked this question on Facebook too didn't you? :flipoff: You can use which ever flex plate you like, 153 or 168. 168 is probably stock, I'd simply use which ever size you have now on the flywheel since the starter...

    Lets talk "adapters".

With a 1310 you shouldn't have any issues.

    Lets talk "adapters".

Something I'd look at is clearance between the 300 front output and the th350. A short adapter would be nice to keep leverage off the tail of the trans (I snapped a housing oops) but will the driveline clear? If you can do it I'd run the jb adapter. It's priced right and it's short along...

    10 cool facts about toyota

I'm guessing so. I may have clicked on it if he hadn't pasted the "toyota is so green!" crap in the first post. I'm a yotard, have been since the mid 80's but this ain't about that company, they're long gone now.

1988 ford 7.3 IDI sluggish up hills

Nope it started back in the late 80's. Had that issue on my 7.3 idi truck. If you haven't done it already start reading on oilburners.com. If there is knowledge about this subject you'll find it there for sure. Some things to keep in mind is you'll need to run only beru or motorcraft glow...

    Which tires to buy?

42" tsl/sx's are a bad bitch of a tire, I'd be stepping up to them in a heartbeat.

    2006 RAM steering gear upgrades?

That era of chevy stuff is not the topic of discussion. 73-92 1 ton 4x4 tie rod ends are what they're talking about.

    94 ford turbo diesel

My Big Retarded Pipe shows a couple systems for that truck through summit.

    New diesel shop

Gotcha. That's too bad when things go like that but most of the time it's better for those that left.

    New diesel shop

I take it the old owner ticked off his whole crew so they bounced and left the old place to rot? Am I also right to assume the old owners son was a big reason they all left?

    Towing heavy?

I've always wanted to do the big heavy stuff. Either that or a drive semi tow truck. :redneck: I get a bit of a fix in the summer when I move all the equipment from field to field. Nothing over 12' wide goes on the deck though. The big dirt equipment gets left behind a tractor and moved...

    Towing heavy?

Turn the wheel and tap the brakes repeatedly... Turn, push, turn, push etc :haha:

    Towing heavy?

Not at all, 105 is no big deal. Just pointing out that running a pickup down the road at sub 20k isn't worth getting excited over. I've ran a 68 c10 with a 292/sm420 down the road many times hauling scrap, gravel etc at 22k. It gets really exciting when a power steering line blows soaking the...

    Towing heavy?

I thought this thread was going to be about heavy loads and here all I'm seeing is numbers closer to a tare weight than gross. :flipoff:
