    YJ question

What is street legal very much depends on where you live. Emissions, fender coverage, lift laws. There are loads of reasons that a vehicle might not be considered legal, all dependent on local laws, and law enforcement.

    Is anyone actually riding?

I got out to AOP in March. Ended up with a pretty good group. It was slick as snot. I ended up with a fueling issue that cut my ride a little short. I just got that fixed up and it's ready to go again.

    Recommended Rear D60 to Narrow?

Yep. Full float. Here's a pic I grabbed from the Google. All you need are the hubs from the drw axle to swap onto the srw axle.

    Recommended Rear D60 to Narrow?

You can use drw 14 bolt hubs on a standard 67" 14 bolt to narrow it to 63". Ruffstuff sells brake kits for them as well, or any weld on disk conversion should be fine.

    Crawler hauler pics

The only thing that's really gotten me to pucker was the expansion joints on the bridges coming up i95 when I first bought it. I was driving back from Tampa running 75 and it was all fine, but some of those bridges got the whole rig rocking a bit side to side and I had to back it down a bit to...

    Crawler hauler pics

It is. It's right about 12.5' overall, but i can stand inside it without hitting my head. You can feel the height for sure. I usually roll 70 on the highway while towing with it and it's fine. I run airbags, and I'm considering a heavy sway bar for the rear as well, but I've hauled it for a...

    Crawler hauler pics

I went with a minimal trailer and a truck camper after I sold my last enclosed trailer.

    Line locks

Its not what your are looking for, but speaking to longevity. I've had a mico lever lock in my rig for like 18yrs now. I can't remember what year I got it, but it was added as my parking brake when I installed d44s in ~2003-2004 time frame. It still works perfectly and is currently used as a...

    Atturo stickies?

They are expensive, and they have a goofy (imo) knife blade tread pattern. I was a little surprised to see they are over $800 each for 40s.

    This place is dead...

I share when I've got something worth saying. I'm terrible about not taking pictures on wheeling trips. I do have a years long build thread on jeepforum (started in 2013), but its a pain to keep up with the same info in 2 places so I never started one here. Also, I had to take a couple years...

    Let's see your tow rig!!!

I guess I need to update mine since I finally towed with the full package.

    What makes a good trail?

Ok, hear me out. Let's make the lower rock garden at Harlan, but twice as many rocks, and like a mile long. Lol

60% of the time, the internet is right every time. Glad that got you what you needed.

What battery do y'all use in your rig?

I ran a red top for like 10yrs until an electrical issue made my lights turn on unattended and killed it super dead. I was still able to use it for a while, but it wouldn't hold a charge (even disconnected) for more than a few days after that. I picked up a yellow top about 7-8 years ago to...

    Improve Hydroboost Brakes

I just took a quick look, and the most obvious thing I see is that the master cyl bore for the 05 Chevy is huge. I'm seeing ~1.45". For comparison, the 99 ram 2500 mc I'm using, which is pretty common for 1 ton setups, is 1.25". If a hard pedal is the issue you want to address, I'd look into...

Maybe a few extras for any of your buddies who are riding behind you.

    Night riding lights

I've got these under mine front and rear. I use a pair of 4x4 led cubes (one on each side) to light the sides.

    Show off your trailer

I think you're forgetting tongue weight in your calculation. Pretty sure that tundra isn't close to 7700 lbs without a trailer on it. Sweet setup all the same.

    Show off your trailer

Is that the trailer axle weight at the truck stop scale? That sounds light for that trailer even without the camper.

Drag Week / Rocky Mountain Race Week...for the offroad crowd?

My rig is tagged and insured, so technically "legal" for the road portion of this proposed event. I gotta say, driving for hours on the road in my rig just sounds awful. Lol
