    2005 Silverado driveline vibration?

You got disc brakes on the back? I've seen wheel flanges that are bent and make a wheel wobble that create a vibration. Pull the driveshaft and see if the ujoints bind.

    2 & 4 post lifts

Rotary, forward, newer challengers are all good lifts. Get the rolling jacks on a 4 post lift so you can actually get the tires off and do suspension and brake work on it.

$5K Budget Build XJ or ZJ?

$5K Budget Build XJ or ZJ?

For this particular build, I would go XJ for a couple reasons. High pinion front axle, better transmissions and transfer cases, bigger aftermarket following, easier to fit bigger tires on an XJ than a ZJ. Either way, 5k gets them into places they probably shouldn't be. The 3 inch lift 31's and...

    BMW M3 rig motor swap

All installed and running right, it would be super cool. And for some body that is a BMW tech that knows all the ins and outs of that setup it would be fine, but for the rest of us, I'd say stay with what you have. Reliability and parts availability, everybody on the trail has worked on a 4.0...

    Zj lift kit

I need to get a set of front arms and trac bars for mine. It has the 3.5 inch Rusty's basic kit on it. Then I added rear arms to move the rear axle back to the center of the wheel opening. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

    I quit!

Hell yeah! Now you can work all that overtime for yourself, like me, right now at the shop probably all night and most of the weekend. :wtflol: Hopefully in another 14 years you'll be set on your own island, even if it is on smith lake. :fish:

Looking for a transmission shop in Birmingham

He may be a little cheaper but he's only going to do a year warranty. He actually has fixed some for that shop that they couldn't figure out. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

Looking for a transmission shop in Birmingham

I can put you in touch with the guy who builds all mine, probably done 20 or so for me and never had a problem. Or if you want I can pull and install it as well. All the 4L60E tranny's he does get the zpack clutches, new electronics, beast shells and wider bands so the common failure points are...

    Harnesses?

I had a set of the 2" padded Crows in my Toyota truck, then put them in my buggy. I like them better than any other harness I've used. 3" in a trail truck just seems excessive and uncomfortable, just my opinion.

North Alabama Transmission shop for 4L80 rebuild

The warranty is key here, truck breaks down anywhere and it gets fixed at a Jasper dealer or at a GM dealer instead of having to go back to the shop that originally did the rebuild. Plus a shop doesn't want your truck sitting on a lift for a day or 3 while they get the trans built, when they can...
