    Heavy duty ball mount

No, not really. I really liked the Curt, the sucker seemed bombproof. I like bombproof.:redneck: I think the horse trailer with tack etc probly weighs in around 7500..... Our girls are pretty big. Otherwise just a 20' carhauler with "whatever" on it, though usually just a Sami. I found an...

    Heavy duty ball mount

I'm hunting a heavy duty ball mount. Ordered what I thought would work from Curt Mfg. it's a 8" drop with a 12k trailer/1.2k tongue weight rating. It's AWESOME, exactly what I wanted......'cept I need 10" of drop. I can't seem to find a drop hitch with this weight rating AND 10" if drop. Anyone...

    Diesel or Gas???

I paid a little over 13K, the rig had 99300 miles when I picked it up, I've put over 30000 trouble-free mles on it. You'll only smell diesel if you hang out by the tailpipe, or spill it on yerself.:D

    Diesel or Gas???

I got a 2000 with the 7.3, I love it. It's stock mechanically, gets about 14 mpg. My truck is a crew with a service box, weighs over 10K, so mileage would be better with less weight. Tows the sami around effortlessly, works a little with the two horses in thier trailer. I'll never get another...

Reiter users pool: Do you have a discover pass?

I've got one I paid for and and almost enough hours fer a freebie. I leave the one I have in the tow rig, cuz I know tickets get written at Walker. If I want to go wheelin and not get hassled I need a pass, so I bought one, simple as that.
