    Cj7 steering issues

Straight , no toe on a straight axle. Just cuz ya talk to him everyday doesn't mean he did it right. Either fix geometry, sloppy parts are just man up and mob that botch thru the 30-38mph zone till she smooths out. Dont blame tires tho for a sloppy or crooked rig. I drive a chevy truck with...

    Cj7 steering issues

Did you cut and turn the knuckles? It's hard to believe that you have 6 degrees and a decent front driveshaft angle with a WAGGY axle. Waggy axles were spring under and have one of the worst pinion angles around when used in a lifted or spring over app.

    Cj7 steering issues

Some good advice in here and some bullshit to Lay them balljoints back at 4-6 degrees if you wanna cruise. Driveline will be ****ed unless you cut and turn knuckles. Halfassery drives good but wheels bad, or wheels good but drives bad. Wholeassery can drive AND wheel good. Spend some...

    winch talk

Rope is for fishing. Where corrosion is a concern. You will never see rope on a skidder or a tow truck where people make a living with a winch. Rope is a cool novelty with HUGE retail markup.

Do you use harbor freight tools

Im going to disagree with the impact sockets. Maybe they are ok if you have a weak HF impact. I have a set that I put in a toolbag and used them with a gun once and turned two of them into BELLS. Flared them out like a cheap brakeline. JUNK.

Do you use harbor freight tools

Win some ya lose some. Read the reviews. If its a pile of **** (you should be able to tell by inspecting it, but if not,) the review comments will tell you the story. Or if its got low stars but just has one bad reason, the comments will tell you why its a POS and if its just a simple fix...

    Toyota Front Leaf Springs

The Blue Beater thread was done using third gen rears. They are longer than first/second gens. For third gens the front hanger needs to be moved forward. For 1st/2nd gens the stock hanger location can be used. Stock hangers are garbage tho and if you dont have beefy mounts I would fab some...

Tinned copper is better, but not if you cant solder worth a ****. I good mechanical connection is better than a shitty solder connection.

Anybody tapped an 03-06 Jeep steering box?

Tapping a box is a waste of time without upgrading the PUMP. Unless you just want a slow ass steering system with a real good steering stabilizer. Your pump only has so much power/volume. Adding a ram is going to split up the fluid delivery. More fluid to the ram = LESS fluid to the box...

Yeah brake booster is a given. PCV too an the valve cover breather, leave all that **** alone. Get rid of the rest of it. All the egr, little hoses, VSVs, GARBAGE. NO check engine light either unless something is wrong. Steering pump and fuel pressure reg, thats all you need. MAke sure...

Toyodaaddict's 1980 Toyota "The Blue Truck"

Military style for sure. Get rid of the EGR. block it off on the head and manifold. Get rid of ALL the vacuum lines except three of them. Two larger ones that go to the steering pump. These are good. One from the manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. This on is essential. The rest...

    Tractor grapple

Phones have a weird thing with rotation programing thats over my head. What I found works to kill it is to (on your phone) edit the pic. While in the edit pic phase rotate it 180 degrees. Save it. Then do it again 180 and it will then stay upright when posted. Grapple looks great!

    12v Cummins Problems

Not as much stopping power as SM pads and they will overheat and cook your rotors. Ceramics make less dust and last longer and are easier on your rotors. Perfect for a zippy car or everyday driver thats not real heavy. They tolerate heat, but also make more heat if used on a heavy rig. Ive...
