    Car Stereo Stuff Question

I just installed 4 of the "PRIME" Rockford 6.5" 3-ways in my younger kids Subaru. They are a lower wattage speaker that is great for the price to replace stock stuff.

    Dana 300 4-1 LoMax gears

While I don't have any...every rig that I have ridden in that does, is a growling kitty.

    D44 highsteer arm

Sounds like you had a loose front stud and the arm pivoted a bit around the "lever". Probably had been loose for a bit and developed a stress fracture. Fractures become cracks. Cracks become breaks. Good thing that it did it when you were at home. Also good thing it didn't happen while...

Looks good. I like the bulge over the flat skin look.

    Family Rock Kia-rawler

Man the frame on that thing really seems wide! Not a bad thing at all. Your mounts really had to go deep into the center to catch the V8. I love how much room is in that frame. Also I really like how you attempted to keep the interior "stock" looking by making sure the shifter fit within the...

    Finally....Da new rig..

Mike, I have a brand new splined set-up from Speedway. I ended up not using it on the Scout and so it is just sitting on my shelf. Cadillac tilt, telescoping column can't be used with one. I will sell it for quite the discount to not have it sitting around. PM me if you are interested.

    Toyota "race" truck

Man I thought your front end looked familiar this afternoon. But the last time I looked at this thread your truck was still the red color. Great meeting you today, and YES...wet and cold. Just finally warming up. Hope to see you out on the trails this spring. Mark

    CRD jeep liberty

Here is one that I followed a couple of years back. It is a pretty aggressive build compared to just running 33's...BUT shows where you could go with one. Take a look through these archives and check it out. Pretty stout rig once done up. There are also numerous videos of it from when BDS...

    To ORI strut or not

Considering the packaging advantages, their ability to handle various terrain styles, etc. I would also run them. The day I ever move away from leafs on the tractor, I would probably go straight to them.

    CRD jeep liberty

I remember when S&N did the SAS for Trail Ready's Liberty. It was pretty bad ass considering the Liberty wasn't out for very long and I think they were the first to have done one. This was back in 2004'ish? It was all documented on the SNORT4x4.COM board.

lets talk about auto transmissions for wheeling

Should be much cooler Hip. Please keep us updated on the wheeling trip results. I have been contemplating a converter change as well in the future.

    Revive Retro

Jeep turned out great. Also a good reminder of the little things that go wrong when you let a rig sit for too long. What straps is he using for holding the jerry cans to the holders? I am trying to source some for my rig.

    Roll over valve?

Mike I have that same cell I think. I looped and ran a long discharge line for added length. That is also the vent if I recall, so I put a small crankcase type filter on the end of the loop line. I'll take a pic tonight.

    South Sound Cage Builder?

Congrats on the call. I also am in the top 12. Here is a list of folks I would call/look up: Those Guys... Northrup Fabrication (BNS FAB) Sasquatch Motorsports LLC PS...hoping that the event is Cali/Nevada/Arizona based this year...

    Battery tender

I use the HF $9 floater. Regular $14.99. Battery needs to have a good charge before you put it on. Otherwise the thing flat works. I can leave it on the RV and it cranks like I drove it just the day before.
