    3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab

It's still here, was pushed to the back of the line to finish a couple rollers. Owner is big in dirt tack racing, and is in no rush. It'll be back in the shop in about 6 weeks. I'll update with more progress when I get rolling on it again!

back on the market Someone wants this! I'm ready to expand and buy more tools for CutlerFab. Manche is ready for a new excited owner and I'm ready to build more well built machines to enter the wheeling world! - there is now only one set of tires, but 6 total, two of those being brand new...

    EB Customs "JK6"

Re: Re: EB Customs "JK6" Exactly how the manche ended up. Nothing but exterior sheetmetal... and very little of that, used in the end. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk

Added some branding to the new fender. It will have some stainless mesh on the back later. Learned the bend radius dimensions after 1st run, adjusted the drawing on this run, bent out in perfect x/y dims. Doesn't sound like much, but it really is from a fab stand point= less time and tweaking...

    3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab

Banged out a quick little 3d part from a 2d draft, with the plasma table. A couple slight modifications for the drivers side, (this side is acceptable with tweaking). Once corrected I'll modify the drawing to knockout the drivers side to be a bolt on pattern. You can also see where I modified...

    3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab

The tubing behind the B pillar is complete. Still some sheet metal work back there to come; tailgate, fuel cell mounting, tool box building. Seatbelt shoulder harness mounts are installed. And front tube fenders are coming together, nothing spectacular with the design yet, just getting a...

    3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab

First 2d drawn, 3d assembly, created by me, ready for attachment to 3DB crawler.... Why did I wait so long to go CNC!!! Formerly about 1.5 hours of work, per side... now only 1.5 for both. Most of that spent waiting for the part to cool to do another stringer... Glad to finally have the...

    3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab

Re: Re: Re: Re: 3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab I understand totally and kinda feel the same way. But I have to get more efficient to one day become a profitable venture. I do enjoy making things by hand, and I'm certain it will take some time to become efficient at the cad/cam portion of...

    3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab

Re: Re: 3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab Thank you! Stop in anytime. Love the certiflat fixture table; continuously buying more clamps and stops. I have plans to get a 4x8 or 5x10 in the spring to begin an east coast ultra 4 build that is way overdue. Fixturing is addictive. Anytime I can...

Looking great! I can appreciate all the hand made effort in this unit. Enjoy learning tig, it'll change the way you look at all forms of welding. Keep hammering on the aluminum, tighter the joints the better... just need a bead roller now to spice things up????. Matt Cutler Sent from my...

    3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab

Re: Re: 3DB Crawler build by Cutlerfab Really just a style choice. I like capped tubes and mend plates, desert truck influences. As a bonus, allows me to do much of the assembly on the fixture table, then install as modules. You can see many caps on the manche. There will be a horizontal...
