I believe pinion bearings are bad, but not sure, gears seem to be ok, and the other is still in use, but is growling pretty bad.

    Rockwell rebuilding?

Anybody know of a shop that rebuilds Rockwell center sections? We use Rockwell rearends mated to 100hp electric motors on our mixers at work to drive the agitators. We have 2 that need rebuilt and everything were finding is out of state.

    Underdrive pulleys?

The fan has the factory shroud, which covers 80% or more of radiator. It's possible the fan is slow, it does turn kinda rough and is loud, but moves alot of air still. I guess the oil pressure could be part of it, I do tend to bury it in muck most trips. I'm gonna pull the pan and do the pump...

    Underdrive pulleys?

I've had a small issue with steering also in 4 low, not to bad, but if I gave it some skinny pedal it would turn. I run 2wd low most the time just to help steer and avoid that. The Taurus fan covers way more than rigs I've had with smaller fans? I'm not running a high pony rig, headers and a...

    Underdrive pulleys?

It had a small black magic electric fan when I bought it, and it was on gas not propane. Had the griffin aluminum radiator already, which seems to be pretty good sized. I've since switched to propane and have tried a couple other fans, I'm running a Taurus fan now which covers about 80-90% or...

    Underdrive pulleys?

So for a couple yrs now I've been fighting overheating issues, mild built 350 on propane, griffin aluminum radiator and a Taurus fan. Runs about 190 or so if I'm cruising at normal speeds and flat, as soon as I'm on inclines the temp starts climbing and climbing. On the trails I have to shut...

Gambler 500 - I guess it is time to learn about VW's

Dates been set, looks like Aug 25-26th it is. Looks like I'm switching beaters, was gonna run the caddy, but it's so damn low to the ground it scraps on every damn driveway/exit, so don't think it would do to well. I've got a 94 camry just sitting in my garage, been sitting for 2 yrs, put a...

Gambler 500 - I guess it is time to learn about VW's

I went over to tahuya yesterday and watched these guys rip around and break ****, Volvo with exhaust out the hood, t-bird with a winch mounted in the grill, all kinds of red neck ****, was pretty entertaining. Also tested out all my new high steer and components, had no issues. Even got the...

    D44 highsteer arm

So I got passenger side knuckle/arm on, had to take a tiny bit off the steer arm to clear ball joint, but seeing this is my first ball joint in a very long time I can't remember where or how to torque the camber sleeve in the yoke? It's saying 70 lbs. Where do I get the spanner tool for that?

    D44 highsteer arm

5\8 studs are are the way from crawler tech in Colorado. And come to find out my new arm is already drilled for 5/8 studs:cheer: so once those show up, I'll finally get to assemble it. Of course it had to snow while it's on jack stands.

    D44 highsteer arm

Thats what were contemplating now, I'll find out when I get home if the taper is the same. We'll the washer taper is the same, so just need to drill out the arm holes and im good, except for finding new 5/8-18-4 studs. Found 1 guy on ebay, but he's gone till after new yrs. Pretty sure Tacoma...

    D44 highsteer arm

So I found the # of the guy who built it, he said it was a kit (poison spyder) that came with 5/8. I've found 5/8 stud kits but my question is if I drill my new arm out to 5/8, will it affect the taper and or washer? Also just read on pirate that poison spyder arms came with 5/8 studs, and not...
