It worked great. That trailer pulls so easy and straight. I still need to build the front floor sections in so I have better places to haul all the stuff that would previously ride in the truck bed. I'll also make a small platform at the front to have a nice step for the camper Once that's done...
That thing was rowdy. Needs lower gearing but it worked really good. Only real issue we had while he was with us was his wireless winch remote not wanting to work right. Once he gets some more time with it and dials it in it'll be bad ass for sure.
He got to the tree and went to take a look. Busted out laughing when he saw the 6' wall right at the first corner. I'm not sure what it would take to climb that now.
I went to aop Friday and came back home this morning. Weather was great, minus the several days of rain leading up to the weekend. At least it wasn't dusty. Lol
It really wasn't bad, and got better every day.
That was Cole from RCM FAB. We had my jeep he just finished some work on last Weds out for a shakedown run. He got your replacement joint you handed me. Glad he was able to help.
Yep. All but a handful of rigs required recovery yesterday.
Props to Donald Powell for being the only guy out the top this weekend. He was hammering on his buggy, but looked completely cool and relaxed behind the wheel. It took some time, but he finally got it.
Also, thanks Cole for the ride...
Looking at those pics of Pony Hill compared to an older video I had, they covered up the botton 3-4' of the hill with dirt. Basically built a ramp up the first slab.
lol.. That's the hill to get to the entrance to Lion's Den. It's gotten pretty dug out. Apparently my wheelbase was just a few inches short of working on that line. I had to back off and go on the far left side to get up.
I didn't get many pics since my photographer (wife) wasn't there.
I can't tell you how glad I was to find this broken after snapping something goofing off in the lower rock garden
Had to stop by Larry's for a little repair
Rough weekend for bgred..
This ride was the first time I've ridden in a rock bouncer. At 6'4" I just don't fit in any of the other bouncer's I've sat in. No headroom in Lovett or Hadden's buggies, and my feet were on the header in the blue beast. I'll gladly take that passenger seat any time it's offered :spin:
I had a blast bumming rides this weekend. I came with the Augusta crowd and rode with my buddy Bull until he snapped his driveshaft. Ryan broke out the spare crawler (Cherokee buggy) and we shuffled seats. I landed shotgun in Jake's Riot buggy, and let me tell you, that is one going SOB...
Not sure if this will work. I haven't figured out linking videos from FB yet. Some friends were riding at D-town that weekend and spotted Bill.
*edit*
First option didn't work. This link should.

My group had a great time. Rode all over the park all weekend, and watched people thrash their rigs trying Bounty Hill on Saturday. I think Jake had the ride of the weekend.
