I have not seen anything saying the West Side of Naches Trail is open early. The announcements were for the Naches Ranger District. The west side of Naches Trail is managed out of the Snoqualmie Ranger District in Enumclaw.

They stopped grooming for sleds back in April. I've heard of a few groups making the drive over to Little Naches side...there was still snow in the pics I saw. Not sure what is up there now.

The Cle Elum just opened up some of the Liberty trails...

The Cle Elum & Naches Ranger Districts have the trails closed until 06/15: http://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/okawen/alerts-notices/?aid=33142 They say they will open them as the snow melts & downed trees are cleared.

I pinged the rangers on this...they confirmed that they have zero plans to fix the road at this time.

Last year was a little out of the norm on snow pack.

Naches Trail West Side is closed through July 15th each year.
