    Traxxas Summit

Hey Jay, Looks like fun. I havent owned that particular model but traxxas has pretty good warranty, tech support and after market product support. The one I saw on the web is ready to run out of the box, not sure if it's offered in a kit though. Hard to find a kit these days, chinese factory...

    Glitching....

Ok, but I would think you could make a hole in the servo arm near it's pivot point that would result in a very short throw of the linkage.

    Glitching....

Glad you figured it out. You might be able to bypass endpoint adjustments with servo arm length.

    Glitching....

Electronic crap just does that sometimes. Goes TU for no appearent reason. At this point I would yank the reciever and try a loaner tx rx from someone. It could be anything, even motor but you have to start somewhere.

    Moron needs help with electronics.

The connection on those wears out over time and dimishes performance. Even if it's not your problem now, it will be at some point.

    Moron needs help with electronics.

What kind of connectors are between the battery, motor and charger? If not deans plugs, replace them and see if it helps. Nothing to lose if it's not the problem because you can cut them off and solder on to the new stuff.

I like the pic with the cone. Very realistic.

So, this looked like too much fun!

I'm sure you'll get $150 worth of fun out of it. It's also just like real wheelin, start out learning to drive a less capable rig and it makes you that much better when you upgrade.

Schhol me on the RC crawler thing.

If you have any interest in coming to the comps dont waste your money on an ax10. If you just want something to play with, an ax10 is fine. What videos were you watching? It's really expensive to get an ax10 to comp level and very few people run them.

Schhol me on the RC crawler thing.

On a ship I'd say losi mini or otherwise known as 1.9. You can get one ready to run or a hopped up one out the box that you need a radio for. Watch some of crashes videos to get an idea of what they can do. The ones in the videos are highly modified prob around 5 or 6 hun rigs.

    Airplanes

I fly a version of the 3 channel Aerobird. I takes a lickin. I've plowed it into the ground and several trees only damage being broken wings wich are molded foam and cost around $10. I think the whole plane ready to fly was under 200. It's fun. Only drawback is requires large open area and...

Been out of the game for a long time..

I have the comp crawler and it woops alot of ass. It's just expensive to set up. You have to have a 3 channel radio with 3 position switch to run front and rear dig. It also doesn't like to run anything but brushless motors. The axle gears need regular maintanence, the front axle shafts need...

Been out of the game for a long time..

From what you describe, it sounds like a used axial is the way to go. There are so many out there you should be able to find one cheap.
