Cookeville, TN
240k miles
All new power stop brakes drilled/slotted
Full exhaust
Dsp5 with ATP tunes
Egr blocked, pcv reroute
Always ran full syn 5w40 diesel oil
New rear wheel bearings/seals
Bilstein 5100 shocks
Cognito steering braces

Lt3 trim, dual power leather (seat heaters don't work)

B&w flip over ball in bed + trailer wiring
Brake controller

Basically new Michelin tires $$

Camper shell doesn't go with it

Full disclosure:
You can limp the trans if you leave it turned up on the street tunes when pulling a trailer, or if you get stupid with the throttle. After I limped the trans the 2nd time (3 years ago) I only run the tow tune (+40 hp W/ turbo brake) or stock when towing and make sure to run in tow/haul mode, haven't had a problem since.

I got the truck bone stock with 60k miles on it in 09 and did all the mods, got a job as a salesman and drove it (unloaded) all over TN/KY/IN/AR/TX for 4 years and put a bunch of miles on it.

When I go wheelin I pull a 34' bumper pull with 2 Toyota crawlers. It'll get 11-13 mpg like that. Gets 19-21 unloaded.

I would sell the trailer for $4000 with the truck.

$16,000

Yeah I checked prices on these trucks after I posted this. Holy crap these things are high.

This truck is far from perfect, but Hell it's 10 years old with a quarter mil on it.

I've only put 5000 miles on it in the last 3 years, I literally only drive it when I go 4wheelin since my commute to work is only 5miles now... I figured someone else may want it more than me.

My brother law just paid 21k for a 2006 with the injectors out and about the same miles! Your truck won't last long! What are you going to tow with now?

As long as it comes with $10k cash I may be interested

Dang. Maybe I priced mine too low.

I probably won't tow for a while. Might buy a beater to drag my junk to GMP or Blackhouse. I just don't have the desire to make long distance 4 wheelin trips anymore, so no sense in owning a big ol highway cruising tow diesel tow rig.

I think you priced it fair. 99% of people these days think any diesel with any amount of miles is worth gold. I don't think yours is a smoking deal, but definitely not a crazy high asking price. I think it's priced about right.

That's how I felt also (and why I priced it that way). IMO it needs a bit of work, but I'm sure some people would think it's super awesome molaugh

I tried to leave some room for whoever buys it to get some of the little stuff fixed (or even put a transmission in it) and still feel like they got a decent deal on a good truck.

If it doesn't sell, I'll just keep it up as I have been and in 10 years it'll probably still only have 250K miles on it! laughing1

Diesel price is down so diesel trucks are bring gold oh it will sell! If it was craiglist you would have a 100 call

Re: 07 Classic LBZ Duramax/Allison CCSB 4wd $16,000

That's how I priced my last truck too. I thought it was a fair deal for what it needed but I could have gotten more for it. This is a really good deal, IMO. If I were still looking for a truck you'd have some PM's from me and I'd be calling the bank. Good luck! Exact color and 4 doors I wanted.

yep, definitely put it on Craigslist if you haven't already. My 06 2500 just like that with the 6.0 gasser sold for $16,500 with 133k miles within a week of listing it. A buddy actually saw me share the Craigslist ad on Facebook, came and looked at it on a Thursday, said he wanted to bring his wife by Sunday to look at it and I said I'd hold it for him. By Sunday, I literally had 3 more serious buyers in line if the next one didn't take it. They tried to buy it out from under him but I wouldn't do it. I was amazed. Never thought it would have sold that easily with the gasser in it. Should've priced it about a grand higher!

I just listed it on GoLSN with some haggle room. Maybe someone will snatch it up before I can back out of selling it lol

I've got my 06 5.9 Cummins on Craigslist, just a couple of tire kickers. That's the ****ty part of Craigslist.

It's not Craigslist's fault yer trying to sell a Dodge..... :flipoff1:

Re: 07 Classic LBZ Duramax/Allison CCSB 4wd $16,000

I'm driving it today, going down to Ooltewah to pick up a 4runner after work.

Almost makes me want to keep it.

Not too often that I would comment or try to even give you any advice .. I think you have me on the IQ by 5 or so. ;D
But nick, they are so hard to find I think you might regret this .. I saw a four-door the other day with 180,000 miles for 25,500 :dblthumb:
But it's your **** and I know you're smart fella ..

Re:

I'm sure I will at some point.

I just don't use it/don't "need" it.

I think I could get by just fine with a 3/4t gas burner beater that I didnt care wasn't perfect.

Before I had this truck, I had a nice brand new 6.0 gasser 2500hd. My buddy had a 91 Ford 250 with a 351w and 5speed... his $1500 beater pulled just as good and got the same mileage as my new Chevy...

Then I got the Duramax. And yeah, it's pretty badass to hook onto a 34' trailer with 2 rigs and 4 people and drive 5 hours to Alabama to go wheelin with no worries cruising hills at 75mph, while sitting in a seat just as comfortable as my living room furniture...

But when you only do it once a year, priorities change.

Your truck at that price won't last a hour on Craigslist.
