I just bought a Trail Slayer buggy that has a 1.9 VW Turbo Diesel in it, the engine runs perfect but i am going to a turbo 16v/automatic swap. Here is what the motor consist of.
Motor was bought from ACME Adapter with certified 50k miles, they put all new seals, timing belt, and injector pump and also everything else like the upgraded intake, exhhaust manifold, oil kit everything for it to work right in the smaurai he said he paid $3500 for the swap plus everything else listed
Brand new gm 105amp alternator set up from ACME- $250
Swap kit from ACME- $700
New starter $180
ACME radiator kit with dual electric fans- $595
Centerforce Clutch $250
If you need the transmission i will sell it with the swap also they is a drop in and turn the key swap. I am starting the price at $3300 with the transmission or $3000 for the just the swap.
