Not Rigless
I have a 1979 CJ7 up for grabs. Just don't get enough time to keep this Jeep. Been everywhere I have wanted to go with it, but will probably be relocating this summer so I will have even less time for it.
Mostly finished up after a massive overhaul. Original owner mounted the drive train in a weird way so that the T-case hung a foot under the frame. Went through the Jeep and moved the engine up roughly three inches and back two inches. Tucked the t-case up nearly a foot so its close to a flat belly. Entire drive train is hard mounted to the frame rails.
Front axle is a full-width Dana 44 out of a 79 half ton Chevy (6-lug), stuffed with 5.13 gears, Lok-Right locker, and full hydro steering. Newer 52 inch Chevy front leafs.
Rear axle is a one-ton Eaton(was the predecessor to the 14 bolt). Has 5.13 gears, Lincoln Locker (welded the spider gears together into a full spool), and disk brakes. Newer 63 inch Dodge rear leafs.
Custom front and rear bumpers. Custom tube fenders tied into the frame.
Engine is a mostly stock 350 V-8 with carburetor, Turbo 350 automatic, and a NP205 transfer case. All out of a 1979 half ton Chevy. New seals in rear axle and fluids all around.
Has 37x13.50x15 Super Swamper Boggers with lots a tread left.
Also has 4 rock lights under it for night riding. Jeep was completely rewired front to back in December of last year. Has 3 inch wide RCI 4 point harnesses with traditional latching system.
Has a full cage that is not tied into the frame yet, but plans in the very near future. Sheet of aluminum is on top of the cage kinda as a bikini top. Wheelbase is right at 99 to 100 inches.
Still needs shocks, and front CV drive shaft to be put on when I get some more time. Comes with extra shafts for both axles, soft half doors, windjammer, hard top, and hard doors.
Link to more pictures, most are before the big changes, but the pics posted here are as of last week: http://s280.photobucket.com/albums/kk185/dirttoy3/
Willing to negotiate price and entertain most trade offers. Feel free to call or text me at *Edited for location: Located in Cookeville, TN which is an hour and a half from Nashville and two hours from Knoxville.*
Sold, headed to North Carolina!
