Think i'm jus gonna for-go the front 60 and just save up for some RCV's or so for my D44 while I play on that rear D70. I've got 200$ in this D60, and i'd like to get that out of it. If not, it's not hurting my space, jus figured someone may want a decent priced high pinion 60.

Only "bad's" are no rotors, no calipers and one of the wheel bearings is a lil' loose. Runnable, but I was gonna replace both anyway.

Has OE lockouts in good working condition, u-joints in good shape, ball joints appear to be new-ish. Comes with OE track bar and tie rod/good joints. Open carrier with what I believe is a 3.55 or 3.73 gear....it's 3-something. Didn't really care as I was gonna re-gear anyway.

Located in Lenoir City/Dixie Lee Junction area(Tenn.).....will NOT transport this heavy beast. I'll meet you and help you load it in your vehicle though. 865-363-6664

You can disaasemble the unit hub, sand/file/machine a bit off of the bearing spacer and regrease and tighten them back up thumb.gif

I just priced out brakes on RockAuto.com, 2x loaded calipers and new rotor will run about $250-275

So for under $500 someone could have a running, driving HP Dana 60.

Pretty much...thanks. Thats what i was gonna do with the unit bearings and keepem as spares.

I was also gonna tryn use some 1/2 ton-D44 calipers on the front to easily use 15" wheels.

I think it would be really easy to make caliper mounts for D44 calipers, the bolt ears are really far apart on the knuckle, I think all you'd have to do is run a plate between them with tapped holes for the D44 calipers slide bolts.

Turning down and changing lug patterns on the unit hubs shouldn't be much trouble either.

Pretty much all wheels are available in 8x170 anyway, so that's not really a big deal.

Yea...not much there if ya dont mind the garage time.

Hopefully someone'll pick it up have some fun with it. Wont take much.

jsut what im looking for, only if it was in Chat,,,, too far for me to go..

Re: Re: 2003 front Ford D60 / Superduty axle 200$

I travel all over the state for work, I'll pick it up and bring it to anywhere in TN or KY for another $100.

May have to wait a couple weeks before I'm in your area, but I'll get it to you.

That's cheaper than you could ship it, or drive to pick it up yourself.

I'll go buy it from tony if I've got a buyer lined up.
