Re:

You riding the RZR? Just up for the night or day? And bump for a derail on something I'd have to shoot before buying....and I thought you had to be from the same state to buy a weapon.....I remember a thread from TN to AL or AL to TN was not legal.

Kel, I am not sure if Ill be in the RZR or the jeep. If i can find someone to watch the pooch, Ill probably drag the jeep up there. And you are partially correct on the same state. Long guns are good across state lines. Handguns (which this is) are legal to purchase in your state of residence. Hence the reason Ill sell to an AL or MS resident face to face. This is legal because I am a resident of both states.

While on the derail, do you guys carry the Jack Daniels' distiller series?

Re: Radical Firearms 5.56 AR pistol NIB

Do you hold on with a broomstick on the front? Or do you pull tight with the magazine? I need to look this up.

Definitely not the first one. In fact, putting a broomstick on this unit is a felony...

The "proper" way to shoot this unit is with that u shaped brace strapped to your forearm. The "improper" (read illegal and not approved by the batf) method would be shouldering it like an M4. This method is legal so long as it doesn't touch your shoulder. Lots of people train by using a single point sling and pushing hard against it so the arm brace doesn't contact their shoulder.

There is a ton of discussion out there about what is and isn't legal. Here's my take on it. Shoot it how you want. If you happen to be committing another felony with it, they will charge you with the weapons violation as a bonus. If you are shooting responsibly and in a designated area and it happened to rest against your shoulder, I don't think you would be high on their list of people to charge. With that being said, I am in no way advocating that anyone break ANY laws, let alone those related to firearms.

But seriously, don't put a broomstick on it. They will bust you for that.

Re:

I know I am clogging up this thread, but I like it and I am thinking about this one or one similar. I know I am crazy, I hope yall have figures this out. I want this for a small rifle, large capacity that I can take with me in the truck and not take up a bunch of space.

I am not worried about being legal by firing off the shoulder. I would test fire it off the shoulder to sight it in then use it in my vehicle only as a device to get me out of a situation I don't want to be in and will end up on the news.....example. I am going through St Louis this weekend with two pistols. I have 12 rounds before I will be reloading. Do I want this to happen? No. Am I preparing for a possibility of a blowout or a group of people shutting down the interstate? You bet your ass. I know urban tactics, but pistols in this environment are good right before you die. I know this won't be making 200 yard shots, but I would imagine up to 75 it aught to at at least brush your hair back.

Blah....anyone use this not rifle on any decent length shots? I watched YouTube videos and not one human will say anything for fear of legal reasons.

Correct! The angled one is good to go. Silly batf and their semantics.
