I am just frustrated with it. It has a miss and in the process of trying to fix the miss I replaced the injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, coil, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributor. It runs just has a miss. I have been driving it for about two week with the miss. Like I said before I am just frustrated with it and I'm already over my head in it and I just want to try to recoup some of my money on it.

Now for the good;
It has a good set of 31" bfg a/t tires with new brakes on the front. clutch is good and the rest of the drive train is good. I rebuilt the steering, it has new tie rod ends and new idler arm. This was my daily driver. the body is straight without a dent in it. The fenders have a little rust but thats it, the frame and floor pans are solid. It has a Downey cold air intake and a header with full exhaust. Has all the components for air conditioning except the hoses going to the compressor.

The only trades excepted are for guns or a nice 4 wheeler.
asking 2000 for it. Pretty firm on my price but cash talks.

Re: Re: 86 toyota 4runner

I realize it is in fact not guns or a 4wheeler, but would you happen to be interested in a little 30 mpg dd? I've got a 93 Integra I'd trade ya. Everybody needs to save some gas money these days. Haha

I'm interested send me some pictures and details to 423-991-6984

Random missfire?

Have you tried pullin 1 plug wire at a time while it's running to see which cylinder it is? Sometimes injectors stick.

yes, i tried that. The missfire doesn't occur until the engine is under a load. It idles fine and revs fine(with the clutch pressed in), but as soon as you put a load on it it has a miss. I pulled the hood and put an inline spark tester on each cylinder and drove the 4runner down the road and each cylinder appeared to be firing correctly which is what enevitably led me to replacing the fuel pump, filter and injectors.

I appreciate the input btw.
