93 TOYOTA 3.0 V6 TO 3.4 WHATS INVOLVED

I have a customer wanting to swap from his tired 3.0 v6 to the 3.4 v6. I'm not familiar with this swap any insight would be welcomed. Do the engines share same bolt pattern do people use the wiring and electronics from the 3.0 and by the way the truck is a 93. Is there a certain year 3.4 to use. THANKS IN ADVANCE
