BAttery mounting.

I am building a transverse engine buggy with the kids and thought to bring a little more weight forward maybe I would mount the battery up front on the skid plate. If it's a good gel battery is this asking for trouble?

Skid plate....like come over a ledge and LAND ON skid plate? If so.....be no way in hell that'd last with me!

I don't hit super hard often but the kids may. Maybe I can mount it to the floor leaving a gap to the skid

I thought of that too. I wasn't sure it that would be acceptable.

Sounds like those gravel bypasses are getting a mite ruff.
