It did have a good motor and axles which have been upgraded.. The only reason I did not buy one built is because of the money... I can do a little bit at a time, but I can never seem to save up 10 or 15,000. Okay I can never seem to save anywhere near 10-15k. Ha. No shame in buying a built rig in my book!!!! Although I really do enjoy working on my rig, that's a huge plus also with building one. I cant imagine me buying a built rig not changing something though. Unless of course you get up into the buggies that I would give my left nut for. I think you should get a sticker that says " bought not built, sure was a lot less work, nah nah nah nah boo boo stick ur head in doo doo". Hahah. And just like RC trucks, buying one built is the only way to go in my opinion if ya can. Because I don't believe you can build for nowhere near what you could pay for one finished. I know personally I would have been a lot better off Built rig. Financially speaking. Like I said I can't leave anything alone so Im sure I would change alot on it. But all of the bullshit little knickknack stuff drains my wallet. Piss on them! The only reason I wouls say "built not bought" is because I am kind of proud of what I have done with this thing. I mean I'm sure most of you know, but I'm missing a few brain cells. Ha. As a matter of fact , sometimes when we are doing something sketchy, I look at Joe aka "goose" my co-pilot, when he's pretty much scared to death, and holler "Remember don't worry I'll built this".
