decide to head up to Oliver Springs, TN to hit up Coal Creek again. Pretty nice park, about 72,000 acres....ya, its HUGE thats one of the bad things about the park, most of the big trails are quite a ride from the parking area. we didnt have any major carnage all weekend, only thing that broke was a hiem on my buddies steering ram...pretty easy fix, even on the middle of Rattle Rock. one of the best things, we didnt have to call mountain rescue this year...HAHAHA

here is the creek crossing we did....

come out of the creek and climb massive boulders...uphill, more than 45 deg ang., vertical in some spots

then it was pretty much just long loose rocks up hill with big rocks thrown in the mix.

there were a few smaller ledges after that stuff, then the trail exited along side the coal piles, onto trail 3....ran part of it backwards from what we did the day before and made a bigger climb at the end...

Can you believe I took a Polaris Ranger up trail 39. Winched 8 times and it was a pain in my ass. Got off on the wrong trail and finally reached the main rd by dark with snow falling. Good times but I will not do that again...

holy ****.....that would suck. we had to winch at the big rock piles by the creek. everything was so damp down in that valley, even though it hadnt rained in quite a few days. we talked to a few others that did the same thing on quads....
