23 spline or 21........is it behind a 6cyl or 4 cyl??


6cyl is 23 spline and obviously the 21 is behind the 4 cyl.......jeep... I have a 21 spline sitting in my garage,,but I'm down in PC Florida.

Then I'll assume it has the AX15 behind it as no one in their right mind would put an ax5 behind a V8. It will be the 23 spline. What vehicle is it in? I know Dodge Dakota also ran the ax15/231 as alot of people borrow the bell housing to put in later YJs for the external slave swap.

Chevy also ran them and had a different spline count as well, don't remember what it was though and it won't bolt up to the jeep versions. Need to know what it's in or came out of.

We went back to check it out this morning and realized it was a rear ring and pinion.
