Earlier today a deal was finalized between E.C.O.R.S. (Endurance Championship Offroad Racing Series) and Carolina Truggies of Charlotte, NC for a full season sponsorship of the B Class Championship series. The ECORS B class historically has been a Street Mod/ Pro Mod style Vehicle and this year we have opened the doors just a tad to allow even more wild innovation among the competitors. Seeing the direction that ECORS was heading with the B class, Alex and the team at Carolina Truggies reached out and expressed interest in being a part of the series. After several conversations and a meeting it was clear that the current direction of Carolina Truggies was a nautural fit for the factory mod world of the ECORS B Class. We look forward to working with Alex and company this year and can't wait to see the innovation and creativity they inspire. To prove their committment to the series one of Carolina Truggies' own will be racing a full schedule in a modified Jeep Wrangler in the B Class points chase. Earlier today we caught up with Carolina Truggies to discuss the prize offering they were bringing to race one. Alex had the following to say, "Well no one doesn't like cash, so to start the year off right let's lay some cold hard cash on the line right out of the gate. [In addition to the normal ECORS payout and any other contingency money that a team may be running for,] Carolina Truggies will offer up $500 cash to the winner of the March 17th race at the flats in the B Class event. In addition to this $300 will be paid to 2nd place and $200 to 3rd. All cash and all you have to do to earn it is drive fast." Remember, this is all in addition to the normal ECORS payouts! These payout committments will be subject to minimum participant numbers, per the ECORS payout table, like all prizes. Please join me in welcoming Carolina Truggies to the ECORS sponsor team, and do not hesitate to contact the guys for all your offroad needs.
