I am trying to decide on changing gears on the Solo Buggy from 4.88 to 4.10. I changed from 5.38 to 4.88 about 18 months ago, but still need more wheel speed. If I pull the trigger, I will have an ARB for 4.56 and up gear. ARB will be used but currently installed and working perfect. Would have all new air lines, silinoids, etc. from install kit as none of that will need to be used.

So, trying to decide on 4.56, no ARB change, or 4.10 and sell ARB here.

Any interest? New they are $1,218. Thinking of asking $750.

If someone wants it, it would make my mind up to go 4.10s. Otherwise I will probably keep and just go 4.56.

Yes, I'd let the R&P go with the locker for another hundred.

Bump, any takers, got to get parts ordered.

Hi, Interested in your ARB. I could send you the 4.10's out of the axles that I have to. I'm running a 88 kingpin ford 60 front and a 14B rear, both with 4.10's.

Would be interested in buying the ARB and swapping you gears

Is it a 30 spline for a rear or 35 spline for a front? And come with 4.88 r&p?

35 Spline for the front. Add R&P for $100.

Sorry I have Chevy 60's front and rear, so the trade would not assist me.

A was a little disappointed that we could only get 105 MPH with street tires on the dyno!

Re: Feeler - ARB Locker for Dana 60

4.56 is only 7% different from 4.88, so I doubt that's what you want. 4.10 is 16% improvement,

Re: Feeler - ARB Locker for Dana 60

i know you can get thick cut gears to put lower gears on a higher carrier, why don't they do the opposite?

Because they'd have to be really thin cut gears, too thin to put bolts in without having the holes break out into the ring gear teeth

ARB was salvagable. Just blew the O-rings out, so I will stay with 4.88 gears at this time. Offer is off the table.
