I've been converting these hubs for a while. I've had alot of positive feedback on them ppl like my turned down hubs better then the factory hubs. I hav alot of time turning them down.I taper them machine the wheel mounting ring to press on its self it under a load then back on the lathe. I run them on the lathe at hi speeds to make sure they true.there 1/4 or .250 thicker at the lockout mount. when u lay them side by side with factory hubs there almost the same other then mine r thicker were u need it and they don't run out like factory..tell me what u think Eddie 8503824209

Re:

Are these exactly the same dimensions as the single rear wheel hubs like if you were going to convert to half-ton brakes from one ton brakes?

Yes and yes the id & od an everything else is the same as a factory SRW hub I pulled all my measurements off factory u can use the 3/4 ton to rotor and calipers with tmr brackets thats within running

*****in! I happened across a screamin deal when I swapped mine out, but this could make a lot of peoples life much easier.

I had my hubs turned down like this about 4yrs ago. I like the fact that there a little thicker around the lock out/ drive flange area. Don't know if it helps or hurts it but thicker equals stronger to me.

It makes them stronger. i can turn them to the same OD but I figure it's just extra material and it's not n the way so use it
