Hey Torry,
I finally installed a 5995.
Man-0-man what a freakin' difference.
I also installed EPA pots to my TQ3 radio and adjusted the end points not to go full 180deg.
One question though is how can you tell the servo isn't working against itself?
What else do I need to look out for so I don't burn this out?

Lastly. Can you remind what JR radio you have?
I think it was the XR3 but want to be sure. I don't want to burn these digi servo's out so I'm thinking the XR3i.

Hey Mike, glad to hear you got the 5995s

With the wheels off the ground just bump your EPA till you have full lock left & right, then go about 3 more bumps.

you will know if its to much, because those things will flex the whole axle tube.

The radio I have is the XR3, The XR3i dose'nt have the return to center 3 way, left-center-right.

Hope to see you at the comp.

give me a call 253-431-0863

I was in RC Hobbies on Sunday, and they told me you had been in for a servo. Sounds like steering won't be an issue for you anymore.

I'm gonna have to decide, digital servo for the clod, or brushless for the shafty build.
