I walked into my local advance auto one day and seen a brand new looking rotor on a cart and it had one side of it completely gone like the one in photo above but was completely gone, I ask guy at counter wtf happened, he said guy came in last weekend and bought it and had stuck caliper and ran it one week that way and destroyed it, they even warrantied it and gave him new one,
Could you imagine how that woulda sounded and felt like driving Damn

I had a customer one time that had a caliper locked up like that. Drove it 3-4 days that way in traffic and everything.

He called and said it felt like somebody was hangin on to his bumper not letting him move so he shot some wd40 in there in the morning and when he got off work.

Dude was a genius
