Probably to keep kids from jumping in it and kicking it out of gear, and rolling out in the street. :dblthumb:

You are correct. The blocks are just in case. Park works fine, there is no parking brake and I don't want to buy my neighbors house if it rolled. My 7 year old climbs in it and "wheels" it.
