Yikes! And I thought snow wheelin was supposed to be easy on parts....

My last time out I had the same problem on my junk....steering arm studs loosened up, stretched and eventually broke. Fortunately I was able to limp it back to the parking lot and onto the trailer.

Got ARP's now which reminds me....I better go retorque them before I head out in the morning.

i think i remember reading somewhere that its cast steel, not cast iron.:eeek: Not the best to weld to, but it can be done.

He is going to fix it, get a new arm,and get some ARP studs ...

Mine is the Runner w/ the Pitbulls... I put in the ARP studs when I stepped up to 39.5's and Longs!

Looks like somebody needs some 6-lug knuckles.. or at least new stockers and bobbys 5th stud mod.:;

True, but 6011 weld rod works as new studs in a pinch. I think the first job would of held, had he not been screwing around on the way out. Classic I told you so moment. :haha:
