we are looking for several good welders here at MSFC in Huntsville, AL - I know a lot of you guys are great welders and may be interested in switching jobs
would be working as a contractor - pay would depend on experience and abilities - Applicants must be able to pass a drug test and background check
, also must be able to pass a vertical up test on carbon steel with GTAW (Heliarc) root pass followed by SMAW (stick) fill and cap. Should also be proficient in carbon arc gouging, oxy/acetylene, layout and general steel fabrication practices. Experience in welding of quality sensitive or class 1 welding is a plus, but not required. Blueprint reading would be a plus along with FCAW (Flux Core).
