There's the problem... I, unfortunately, am blessed with way to much hair down there too and have had the same problem. I've experimented with a razor once and will never do that again. I found the best solution to this is to "trim" the area with some clippers. You want the A-hair to be short enough so you don't get any hangers on there but not to short to cause any discomfort.

Just my 2 cents from experience.

Have a buddy that clips his ass hair. Another that is so wookie hairy that he can't take a **** unless he's next to a shower. I'm a fairly hairless guy (face, chest, legs, back, maybe 50 hairs between them) but can grow a bush and ass hair like nobody's business. I've often thought about clipping. Shaving is out. **** that.
Vacuum sealed fart doing a lost gerbil roam got me.
