:cheer:I've had a few people ask about my new engine so I thought I would post some specs here..... Start off with the block from the old engine which is a 1968 4 bolt main GM performance block. Bored .030 over and zero decked. In that is a Howards rotating assembly http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hrs-ratp383f/overview/ Full roller valvetrain with this cam http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/cam-specs/Details.aspx?csid=176&sb=2 Heads are GM 186 castings... These are "camel hump" heads with large 2.02"/ 1.60" valves, 7/16 screw in studs, guide plates, 64cc chambers, ported.... Fuel supply is via a 4bbl throttle body http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/store/merchant.mvc?Store_Code=FS&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=304150&Category_Code=4150Style an Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold. Used a pair of these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnb-674-504/overview/make/chevrolet Used the manifolds due to tight clearances. They say these manifolds will out flow most headers... New 2-1/2" into single 3" exhaust from Randys.... Same computer I've had for years... http://www.dynamicefi.com/EBL_Flash.php I've only had a few hours into tuning it. Idle isn't too bad so it's still wheelable but should have plenty of power for racing. I've only driven it under poor traction conditions so it's hard to say what it will do but it does feel about twice what the old engine was which was no slouch.....
