those WR's are nice bikes you'll like it.

Dirt riding Season just started back up :awesomework:

CANT USE IT?
hell i ride my cruiser in sub freezing temps, i just dont like to ride in the rain cause it takes forever to clean all that chrome.

I have had time to tinker with it a little bit, got the front tire fixed, and a few other little things. .. all transferred and licensed... still needs a little love, waiting for my EGR block off kit to arrive, waiting for my helmet to arrive, and hoping to get down later this week and get my permit to ride on the street, and then I will do some back road exploring :) :awesomework:

My first Poohbair repair...

Dealer wants $60 bucks for a shifter. Fawk that.

Shifter with end broken off...

Good as new...

Folding shifters hurt your shins led if you hit it too!

I love to have a bike like that one. It's be nice to just take off for an afternoon.

Maybe at a later date I will add a different shifter. This one works fine for now. If I go with a new one it will be aftermarket... they are 1/2 the price of a stock replacement, but I wanted it fixed now.

The EGR **** is gone, air box mod done...

Maybe over the winter I will do the pipe to get rid of the last of the emissions ****.

Bike probably lost 3 pounds today :)

I hope to lose about 10 pounds by riding it regularly next summer!

First bike workout is this Sunday with Brent and Brad from the NWW on a ride down in Mattawa.... like 25 miles or something... my ass should be sore after using that for a break in ride after not being on bike for more than 5 minutes in the past 20+ years...

I would really put a folding lever one there.

A folding shifter is a must have.
And much cheaper than replacing a shift shaft.

You might also want to add some hand guards.
They pay for themselves just from the broken levers saved.
Some provide a bit of wind protection making winter riding a little nicer.

hand guards and radiator guards. A steering stabilized costs some money but if you ever use one, you'll never go back. If you want to get in shape there's a little race in Odessa every spring....
