While browsing eBay for parts I ran across a chromoly chassis Drag banshee - in Alabama - no reserve - with a low bid I joking told my wife I'll end up buying this unit. The auction ended while heading to the beach and i bid last minute, thinking i was just going to drive the price up and BAM! I bought a banshee off eBay. Now this thing was supposed to have a 4mil stroker with aftermarket cylinders... I reviewed the pictures he sent and I noticed right off it had stock cylinders. But even if it was a stock engine I was way ahead of the game with all the parts it had. Got it home and the next day I was going over a few things and noticed the tank leaking terribly. Ole Clint tigged it up for me and it was time for a test pass or two on the highway In front of the house. Yup - had to pull the engine. It had some shifting issues. Also, it was a good chance to break it down and know for sure what I was working with. While down I found a broke shift fork and it has a set of standard bore wiesco's and a stock stroke crank - 349cc. At this point I had a choice to make. Build a stroker or put it back together like it is .........
