Find a decent used 2 stroke Lawn Boy. I traded a guy plus cash when I sold my big rider at my first house in KC and still have this Lawnboy and have only put in a new plug and it's solid every pull. Aluminum deck will never rot, just wish mine bagged. My $0.02

High chance it's a briggs motor I bet. Nothing wrong, just not a Husky. Briggs is on damn near every mower anymore even lawn boys. Kawasaki and Honda are about the other others out there in push mowers last I looked.
