So, the body lift which was on the truck when I bought it has taken its toll on my cab floor and punched one of the mounts clean through. I had been meaning to take the body lift off anyway but have been held back since I need to relocate the shock hoops, cut the core support for the steering box, etc and I just haven't been motivated with all this wonderful weather and the immense amounts of local wheeling destinations. Today I got a wild hair and decided to pull the seats, center console, carpet, etc since water had been leaking into the cab and the carpet needed to come out. After doing that I got a look at the mount finally and took the mount out. Anyway, what Im thinking I need to do is lift the cab up and try to plate the base of the cab with some sheet metal to rebuild the cab mount(s). What I'm wondering is if anyone has done something similar to this and has any advice or pictures of how they did it, as Id appreciate possibly getting some ideas. Thanks! ~T.J.
