We were riding this weekend and I couldn't see a giant hole on my passenger side and it swallowed my jeep. We hit real hard and it shoved my crank pulley into my upper link mounts that we thought had plenty of clearance when we flexed it out.
Anyways the crank pulley is trashed and I try and upgrade stuff like that as I go to replace things. I really don't know a whole lot about motors and what will help and what not. Can I do anything to upgrade that pulley? I've also seen under drive kits that claim more horsepower but everything claims to give ya more horsepower these days so I figured I would try to get some real world input.

The horsepower comes from slowing the rest of the
pulleys down. The problem is it slows the water pump and
that could make it run hot.

I would put an oem pulley back on and put the $$ towards getting the bumpstops set up.

BUMP STOP PLACEMENT VERY IMPORTANT ON THE SBC PULLEY SET I RECENTLY WENT WITH summit MID MOUNT SERPENTINE KIT IT HAS SMALLER CRANK PULLEY, IM RUNNING STOCK PUMP WITH REAR RAD. AND ITS DOIN GREAT SO FAR !!!!!! :****:
